GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FLAT AND ROOM BOOKINGS
1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions for Room Bookings ("GTC") apply to the provision of hotel flats, studios and rooms for the accommodation of guests, as well as all other services and supplies provided by the hotel in this connection.
The General Terms and Conditions of the customer shall not apply.
The GTC are also provided in English. In the event of any discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.
2. CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
Reservations are only valid by leaving a guarantee.
The following are considered guarantees for a flat reservation:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Union Pay, JCB)
In principle, check-in is only possible if the entire stay has been paid before arrival. For non-refundable bookings, the amount will be charged directly to the credit card at the time of booking. For normal bookings, the full amount will be charged 7 days before arrival. If the amount of the stay is not paid 7 days before arrival, the booking will be forfeited.
The hotel requires a deposit of CHF 200.00. The deposit will be refunded after proper return of the room, flat or studio.
An offer, price lists and the like issued by us do not imply a binding reservation(s).
By booking the hotel, the customer accepts our general terms and conditions.
3. SERVICES AND PRICES
The customer does not acquire any claim to the provision of specific flats, studios or rooms, but the hotel undertakes to keep available flats, studios or rooms of the reserved category. If, for unforeseen reasons, a flat, studio or room of the same value as reserved is not available on arrival, accommodation will be provided in the next higher category. In the event that no flat, studio or room is available at the hotel, the hotel will arrange for at least equivalent accommodation at another hotel. In addition, the hotel will provide round-trip transportation with luggage to the new accommodation address.
The customer is obliged to pay the hotel's applicable or agreed prices for the provision of accommodation and the other services used by the customer. This also applies to services and expenses of Aparthotel Krone to third parties arranged by the customer.
The prices are in CHF incl. VAT 3.8%, per accommodation / night, including free WLAN. The accommodation tax of CHF 3.50 per person / night is not included.
4. FLAT AND ROOM HANDOVER AND RETURN
Booked flats, studios and rooms are available to the client from 3.00 p.m. on the agreed day of arrival. The client has no right to earlier occupancy.
On the agreed day of departure, the flats, studios and rooms must be vacated and made available to the hotel by 10.00 a.m. at the latest. Thereafter, the hotel may charge 50% of the full accommodation price (list price) due to the late vacating of the rooms for their use in breach of the contract until 3 p.m., and 100% from 3 p.m. onwards.
5. PAYMENT
The hotel is entitled to demand a reasonable advance payment or security deposit upon conclusion of the contract or thereafter. The amount of the advance payment and the payment dates shall be announced with the offer.
The hotel reserves the right to debit the full invoice amount from the guarantee credit card. Any exchange rate differences or bank charges shall be borne by the customer.
6. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
6.1 Cancellation conditions for individual reservations
Individual reservations are normally considered definite when the offer from Aparthotel Krone has been confirmed. In the event of cancellation at short notice after the cancellation deadline, one night's accommodation may be charged at 100%.

7. RESCISSION BY THE HOTELS
If an agreed advance payment is not made even after expiry of a reasonable grace period set by the hotel, Aparthotel Krone is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Furthermore, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract extraordinarily for factually justified reasons, for example if
In the event of justified withdrawal by the hotel, the customer shall have no claim to compensation.
8. BOOKINGS VIA TOUR OPERATORS
When booking through a tour operator, the tour operator's general terms and conditions apply.
9. CHILDREN'S PRICES / SOFA BED
A baby cot can be provided on request for CHF 20.00/night. An extra bed (if there is enough space) can be booked for an extra charge of CHF 50.00 per night. Bed linen can be booked in flats with sofa beds. Additional occupancy for one person is charged at CH 50.00/night.
Children from 0-2 years are charged CHF 20.00 per day. 3 years will be charged normal price.
10. LIABILITY / DUTY OF CARE
The flats, studios and hotel rooms are to be used with the utmost care. The customer or the company must pay for any damage caused. The hotel declines all liability for theft etc. and in relation to services provided by third parties. Furthermore, the hotel is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent contractual or non-contractual direct damage. Any further liability is excluded.
11. DATA PROTECTION
Your personal data will be treated confidentially and we do not send out e-mail newsletters.
12. FINAL PROVISIONS
In addition to the GTC, further provisions and booking conditions may apply which take precedence over the GTC. Unilateral changes or additions by the customer are invalid.
The place of performance and payment is the registered office of Aparthotel Krone Immobilien AG.
Swiss law shall apply with Interlaken as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In all other respects, the statutory provisions shall apply.
